The Golf course is spread over 170 acres of hilly terrain, Kelab Rekreasi Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia golf course is a par 72 18-hole championship course with tricky undulating fairways, well placed bunkers and water hazards. It has been designed to professional standards and offers rewarding challenges for every player from the high handicapper to the seasoned golfer.

There are over 200 golf courses through out the country, they can be found in the beautiful landscape,like on seasideview,by the rain forest, on mountains, and even on tropical islands. Many of these courses are equipped with the best facilities and are mostly well maintained. Malaysia will make your golfing an unforgettable experience.

"Golf courses in Malaysia has variety of grasses to play on the fairway. The older courses consist of Cowgrass planted during colonial rule and those latest courses are with Bermuda Tifway covering the the fairway and rough and bermuda tifdwarf on the greens."
"The average speed of Malaysian greens is between 6-8 on the Stimpmeter. But in a small number of courses, the speed can rise to as high as 10. However, the golf courses in Malaysia generally do not have fast greens.
Tourism Malaysia organises annually the highly successful World Amateur Inter-Team Golf Championship. Furthermore, the currency Ringgit is quite low valued,compare to other currencies.So it is price worthy for tourist to golf in Malaysia. Many golf courses also offer night golfing.

Malaysia´s golf courses are mostly frequent by our Asian neighbors. Singaporeans topped the list of foreign golfers in Malaysia, followed by Japanese, South Korean and Chinese. I guess it's just because the price is very competetive comparing to other destinations.
Currently India and China are the emerging markets, economy is booming in this part of the world. So people can afford to travel and take up golfing.

Golfers of all levels will find the 27-hole international standard layout a unique experience. Although there are more than 90 sand traps around the course, water hazards are few and far between. However, the latter still play a part in punishing errant shots.
Surrounded by lush tropical forest and stretching across some 400 acres of undulating terrain, this scenic course offers endless challenges. One of the more interesting holes is the par 5,560 yard 10th, the longest on the course. From the championship tee, it is a long carry over water to the fairway.
Tifway is used for the fairways whilst Tifdwarf is used for the greens. The course is situated along the Seremban-Tampin trunk road and the journey takes about 20 minutes.

Tranås Golf Club was established in 1952,and the first 9 holes was built in a natural beauty enviroment at Norraby.The golf club has 18 holes currently and is beautifully located near Lake Sommen. The course is a clasical woods and park course, with slightly undulating terain, which is easy to stroll around. The course is highly ranked by the Swedish Golf Digest. Since 2007 the club has even a 9 holes short course to offer walk in PAY AND PLAY GUESTS.
